Descrizione vino

A sensational IGP wine of the Puglia tradition. It is made by 100% Moscato grapes. The density is 4500 trees per hectare and the production area is in the Taranto province in the north where there are strong thermal excursion. The grape harvest takes place in the first week of September and it follows the cryomaceration for 24 hours. It follows the alcoholic fermentation in steel for 11°C. The aging period is 2 years and then the flavor evolves to more mature aromas.

 

Characteristics of the Moscato Salento “Estela”

It has a light straw yellow color with bright green reflection. The smell is fragrant with floral and honey aromas together with exotic fruit. The taste envelops the palate with a decided acid aroma supported by an harmonic softness.

 

Suggested pairings with this wine of the San Marzano winery

It is ideal with fish. It is also good with starters, raw crustacean, and pink sauces of fish. The service temperature is 12°C in a wide and high wine glass and the proof is 13%.
