Moscato d’Asti DOCG year 2012 is a dessert white wine from Piedmont region.
Bunches selected to create this wine come from the vineyards located in Canelli, which is part of Astigiana territory.
Grapes which give life to Moscato d’Asti are harvested in mid-September.
After destemming, grapes get pressed and moved in autoclaves where fermentation begins. When wine riches the amounts of alcohol desired by the oenologist, fermentation is stopped using the refrigeration process. Then wine is bottled.
Characteristics of Moscato d'Asti DOCG
It presents a straw yellow colour.
Bouquet is characterized by apricot and peach fragrances and a hint of sage.
Vibrant, fresh and balanced on the mouth and sweet, thanks to sugars.
It should be at a temperature of 9°-11°C.
It is perfect with desserts, fine biscuits, cakes of fruits and cream and custards and pudding.
