Irpinia Falanghina "Via del Campo" DOC QUINTODECIMO
100% pure Falanghina vinification. For the company, this vine represents all the expression of tradition and the character of the territory. The origin of the vines falls within the territory of “Mirabella Eclano” called the VIA DEL CAMPO vineyard, in the locality of Piano dei Greci. Harvest takes place at the end of September until the first ten days of October. Vinification comes after a long pressing of the whole bunches: the draining must, strictly protected from oxygen, is separated from that of the press and clarified by natural sedimentation. The fermentation takes place for 70% in stainless steel vats and for 30% in new oak barrels. This is followed by a period of eight months of elevage on fine lees regularly resuspended in the wine.
