Description du vin
This white wine from the San Marzano winery in Puglia is made from 100 m above sea level Chardonnay grapes: here the vineyards enjoy a dry microclimate and good retention. After the harvest, which takes place in the second half of August, the grapes are destemmed, keeping contact with the skins before moving on to the pressing phase. It is then fermented in steel at a temperature of 15 ºC for about 15 days and then aged in French oak barrels for 4 months.
Characteristics of this Apulian wine
The wine has a straw yellow color and an olfactory bouquet that evokes white flowers and tropical fruit. Fresh on the palate and slightly mineral.
Recommended pairings with this white wine
Try it with fish dishes, from appetizers to main courses. Serve at a temperature of 10-12 ºC.
