Champagne Théophile Brut LOUIS ROEDERER

The three classic varieties of the Champagne region, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, are found in equal proportions to give life to this Brut, with which the maison pays tribute to the Champagne "Théo" that was in vogue in Paris in the 1930s. After vinification, the grapes are left to ferment on their lees, following the principles of the classic method, for two years. After disgorgement, Champagne remains to age for another six months in bottle.

Characteristics of this Champagne

The color is a straw-yellow, with slight greenish reflections. The perlage is fine and persistent. The nose notes of yellow fruit, enriched by nuances of pastry, yeast and cocoa bean slightly toasted. In the mouth is balanced, thanks to a strong acidity that makes the mouthfeel pleasantly round.

Suggested pairings while tasting this Champagne

Excellent with all dishes based on fish. To try also with eggs. To be served at a temperature of 10ºC in a glass not very wide.
