The Bertani winery born in 1857 founded by the two brothers Giovani Battista e Gaetano Bertani in a little hamlet at north of Verona.
Gaetano already had a wine tradition knowledge learned by the master Guyot, who is one of the most expert in the field. When the Bertani began, the most advanced wine making techniques were starting to be used and they concerned both the methods of cultivation and the manner of taking care of the territory.
The winery owns more than 200 hectares of vineyard and it is improving its distribution both in Europe and worldwide. There are two properties, at the Grezzana one, core of the company, there are the wine making processes, the bottling and the delivery. The second property, the Novare estate at Arbizzano di Negrar, is located in the core of the Valpolicella, where there born two wonderful red wines such as the Amarone and the Valpolicella Classico Superiore.
