The Ceci winery made this wine with 100% Lambrusco vines. It has the IGT denomination and it is sparkling. This wine is considered the masterpiece of the Ceci winery and the l'Otello Nero di Lambrusco has improved the consideration of these grapes which were always been considered as second choice. It is powerful, enveloping and it born in 2003 after years of experimentation in the Parma province.

This is a sensational wine from Emilia with a ruby red color with very dark purple reflections. It has also a fine and persistent perlage. The smell has fruity aromas with intense and elegant hints such as strawberry, blackberry and raspberry. The taste is almost sweet, acid and tannic. The taste is also soft, with a fruity and persistent aftertaste.

 

Suggested pairings with this red wine from Emilia

This rich wine is lightly sweet and it is perfect with pumpkins ravioli. It must be served at 14°C in Ballon or Bordeaux wine glasses.
