Descrizione vino

From the vinification of Vermentino, the most famous white grape variety of the island. The territorial origin is the classic one that falls in the municipality of Arzachena. It boasts the IGT Isola dei Nuraghi Guaranteed Territorial Designation of Origin. Its aging potential is amazing, and reaches 15 and more years, in some exceptional vintages even 25 years. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 16-18°C for 4 weeks. It then follows the aging for 4-6 months in new and semi-new barriques, where it completes the malolactic fermentation.

 

CAPICHERA's features

The appearance is straw yellow with golden reflections. The fragrance opens with richness and complexity, on all the wild flowers, hawthorn, wisteria, rosemary, thyme, lavender, pineapple and flint. The taste is dry, lively, full and enveloping, with fruity and aromatic pulp, the finish is long and persistent with rich flavor, mineral and elegant fullness.
