Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle Vendemmia Tardiva "Chaudelune" DOC in Box Cave Mont Blanc
This bottle is sold in a silk- screened case.
The Chaudelune Vin de Glace "Ice Wine" is a particular white wine obtained from the night harvest. It is produced in Val D'Aosta by the Cave Mont Blanc winery located between Morgex and La Salle: the vineyards reach 1200 meters above sea level on the slopes of Mont Blanc and are the highest in Europe. The grape used in the production of this wine is 100% Prié Blanc, harvested after the first frosts at temperatures between -6 and -10°C, thus obtaining a particular concentration of sugars. Fermentation and aging take place in small oak barrels and local essences in oxidation, the barrels are not filled to help oxidation and therefore have a greater olfactory complexity.
