Descrizione vino

This “Berbera D’ Asti” by Montalbera Winery has the DOCG denomination and it is produced with 100% Barbera grapes in the area of Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno, in the heart of Piedmont. The plants are trained with Guyot method. The traditional wine making is followed by the aging, that is developed for 10-15 months in barriques, tonneaux and big barrels made of French oak. Then, the wine continues its maturation in the bottle, where it rests horizontally at controlled temperature.

Features of “Barbera d’ Asti DOCG Superiore Lequilibrio”

Intense ruby red colour enriched by sensations that recall red fruits, raspberry, currant, bitter cocoa and undergrowth. The taste is wide and soft. It is mainly characterized by harmonious and enchanting tannins balanced by the typical sourness of Barbera.
