Historical cellar in Franciacorta that fuses tradition and technology. Monte Rossa aims to excellence and tells the real soul of its territories. In 1972, the manager Paolo Rabotti started the wine-making adventure, continued by his son Emanuele. The history of the cellar is characterized by successful strategies: the first was to invest in sparkling wines and new technologies. The result are products with unique personalities that are the most interesting in the area of Franciacorta. 70 hectares covered with vineyards, with so many different compositions of the soils and expositions, that give a large and complex panorama. Part of the lands is owned, part is rented. The plants are around 15 years old. The philosophy of the cellar aims to high quality and low quantity. The grapes are treated following the traditional “Metodo Classico”. The wines produced by Monte Rossa are the most authentic expressions of the area of Franciacorta. A lot of labels characterized by a unique style, elegant perfumes and fabulous quality.
