FRECCIANERA
The Freccianera Winery is the name given to the Franciacortas produced by the Fratelli Berlucchi Agricultural Company, one of the most important historical establishments in Franciacorta, Lombardy. The Berlucchi family has been active in the area since 1927 and represents one of the oldest presences in the Borgonato di Corte Franca area, where the production site is still located today. The history of the winery is deeply linked to the evolution of Franciacorta itself. Since its inception, the family has worked exclusively with grapes from its own vineyards, hand-harvested and vinified entirely on the farm, maintaining complete control over all production phases, from the vineyard to bottling. One of Freccianera's distinctive elements is precisely this family continuity: management has remained in the hands of the same family for generations, with a strong connection to the area and a production vision based on craftsmanship and precision. The historic cellars, including rooms dating back to the medieval period, testify to a presence rooted in time and a tradition that has evolved without losing its identity. From a production point of view, Freccianera is one of the founding companies of the Franciacorta Consortium and interprets the classic method with a very recognizable style, based on elegance, balance and attention to detail. Production includes various types of Franciacorta, such as Brut, Satèn, Rosé, and Nature, as well as more complex reserves and cuvées, all obtained from proprietary vineyards located among the area's moraine hills. Another important feature is the strong connection between wine, territory, and culture: the vineyards are located in an area of glacial origin, with mineral-rich soils and a microclimate mitigated by the presence of Lake Iseo, ideal conditions for Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir, the foundations of the Franciacorta wines.
