Nebbiolo Sondrio "Terrazze Retiche" Aldo Rainoldi
The Nebbiolo of the Rinoldi Winery, holder of the IGT certification, is a young wine obtained by Nebbiolo grapes coming from the DOC zone which are vinified intact or lightly pressed. It is fresh, very fruity and rich of scents. It has a soft and round taste perfect with appetizers, main courses and young cheeses. The production area is Treviso and Ponte in Valtellina towns all in the DOC “Rosso di Valtellina” area. The exposition is south at 250 meters above the sea level. The soil is loam and it is rich of organic substances which give structure to the wine. From the production process it born a wine with a proof of 12,5% with 1,2 grams of sugar per liter and a dry extract of 28 grams per liter. The acidity is quite low at 5,8 grams per liter.
Characteristics of the red wine Nebbiolo
The red wine Nebbiolo IGT of the Rainoldi winery has an intense and deep ruby red color. The scent is rich of floral essences, is wide and has some fresh fruit hints. The taste is harmonic, round, fragrant and it is very drinkable.
Suggested pairings with the Nebbiolo di Valtellina
It is very good with cold cuts and not very structured main courses. It has to be served at 16°C in a Ballon wine glass to exalt the aromas.
