In a wonderful territory located in Lombardia, between the Iseo lake and the Po valley, there are 190 hectares of vineyard which give life to the famous Franciacorta Bellavista, an historical name who represents the excellence in the Italian sparkling wines. The Bellavista Franciacorta Riserva Vittorio Moretti Extra Brut honors with its name the founder of the company and it is produced only in the best years. The aim is the research of perfection which is the main goal of the Bellavista’s. The attention is particularly focused on the assembly because the best grapes are sectioned from the best Franciacorta crus. The grapes used are the Chardonnay and Pinot Nero almost in the same quantity. The bottle refinement takes 7 months on yeast, follows the disgorging which consists in the removal of the cap where the lees lay down and then the traditional cork with a little metal cage. The Bellavista Gran Cuvèe Pas Opera is commercialized, at least, 7 years after the harvest.
The characteristics of this Franciacorta Riserva wine
Esthetically it has a bright clear yellow color with some gold reflections and the foam is copious and softy with a very fine and persistent perlage. The scent is warning, direct elegant and inviting with some ripe fruit, peach, honey, flower and citrus flavors. The taste is coherent with the aromatic flavors, with a perfect acidity, mineral and long aftertaste which gives persistence.

It has to be served in flute at 6°-8°C. The great ductility of this wine allows the match to every kind of courses but it is perfect to be drunk with oysters, crustacean and bass.
