TENUTA ANTONINI

The Tenuta Antonini winery is located in Ancarano, in the Teramo hills of Abruzzo, an area historically dedicated to grape cultivation thanks to its unique combination of mild climate, hilly exposure, and clay and limestone soils. The winery's history has its roots in the agricultural tradition of the Antonini family, deeply connected to the land and peasant culture of Abruzzo for several generations. The company was born from the desire to enhance the local winemaking heritage through production that combines respect for tradition, technical innovation, and a strong territorial identity. Led by Alessio Antonini, the estate stands out for its production philosophy oriented towards absolute quality and the valorization of Abruzzo's native varieties, such as Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, and Passerina. The vineyards are located approximately 300 meters above sea level and benefit from a particularly favorable microclimate, influenced both by the proximity of the Adriatic Sea and by currents from the Gran Sasso. This condition allows for significant temperature variations between day and night, a fundamental element for preserving aromas, acidity and elegance in wines. One of the peculiarities of Tenuta Antonini is the almost artisanal attention paid to each phase of production. The harvest is carried out exclusively by hand, with careful selection of the bunches directly in the vineyard. The low yields per hectare make it possible to obtain grapes that are particularly concentrated and rich in aromatic substances. In the cellar, modern technology is used with balance and discretion, leaving the territory and the grape variety to fully express their identity. The refinements take place both in steel and in selected woods, chosen according to the characteristics of each wine, with ripening times designed to achieve harmony and balance. The estate's production is deliberately limited and oriented towards high-quality labels, many of which have received recognition from international guides and competitions. Wines such as “24 Carati”, “P.121” and reserves “Le Casette” represent the most authentic expression of the company's philosophy: creating elegant, long-lived wines deeply linked to the Abruzzo region. Each label tells not only a production technique, but also a family story made of passion, research and appreciation of their origins.
