Descrizione vino
This Tuscan red wine is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the company's vineyards located in Val d'Orcia. After the manual harvest, the carefully selected grapes are placed in stainless steel and cement tanks at a controlled temperature; the aging takes place in Slavonian oak barrels for more than 2 years with a subsequent refinement in the bottle for more than 8 months.
Characteristics of this Tuscan red wine
On the organoleptic examination this Tuscan wine shows a ruby red color tending to garnet, with olfactory notes that refer to red berried fruits. On the palate it is soft, balanced with evident tannins and a long persistence.
Suggested food pairings with this Tuscan wine
Perfect in combination with game dishes but also with aged cheeses. To be served at a temperature of 18°C in a ballon shaped glass.
