VIGNETI ZANATTA
Vigneti Zanatta is a young winemaking company founded in 2003, but its history is rooted in the experience of winemaker Bruno Zanatta, who began to explore and work in Sardinia, particularly Gallura, in 1975. This long experience gave rise to the idea of uniting two different yet complementary winemaking worlds, Veneto and Sardinia, creating a family business capable of interpreting Sardinian grape varieties in a modern and distinctive way. The company's true development took place in the early 2000s, when the first hilly lands approximately 300 meters above sea level were acquired, primarily for Vermentino and Cannonau. Subsequently, in 2005, the company expanded with the acquisition of additional hectares in the Olbia area, consolidating its presence in one of the most suitable areas of Gallura. A salient element of Vigneti Zanatta is its strong connection with the Gallura area, characterized by sandy and granite soils, poor in organic matter and water but extremely suited to vines. This natural context produces wines recognizable for their aromatic intensity, flavour and very marked Mediterranean imprint, especially in Vermentino di Gallura DOCG and Cannonau di Sardegna DOC. Over time, the winery has grown to become a structured organization covering over 100–150 hectares, with production ranging from still wines to sparkling wines, always maintaining the Sardinian identity and the valorization of native grape varieties as a common thread. The distinctive feature of Vigneti Zanatta lies precisely in this balance: on the one hand, the agricultural and family tradition, on the other, a modern approach to winemaking that aims for clean, expressive, and instantly recognizable wines. Each label is created to tell the story of Gallura and its landscape, where sea, wind and granite become an integral part of the sensory profile of the wines.
