The Agricultural company Bellaria born in 60’s when Assunto Pieri and Bruna Tempori bought the farmhouse and the territories surrounding the Bellaria place. The properties extend for 4 hectares in the most suitable Montalcino areas. Since the 2000 the grandson of the founder, Mr. Gianni Bernazzi leads the company by handing over the ten-year family tradition in union with a customization and a modernization of some aspects to the production philosophy.
The company philosophy is to produce wines that can express the local territory characteristics to satisfy the unique and natural wine lovers. A great attention is take in the vineyard by taking care of the vine because “the wine is made in the vineyard not in the cellar”. Of course the same care is taken in the cellar during the production steps from the wine making, to the refinement which is made in fine Slavonia oak woods and in French Allier.
The company produces Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino DOC and soon the IGT and Sant'Antimo.

Which are the future projects for your cellar?
This year I’m working on new vines to increase the production but also on a qualitative better cultivation method to improve more and more the quality of the bunches.
In your opinion, how much is important the improvement of the quality of the wines you produce?
It is the main goal due to the little production of my cellar. We try to keep staying in the market which always needs good quality wines for a right price.
If you have to convince a customer to buy your wine, what would you say to him?
I would tell him that we produce unique wines and that in my cellar he would never found a standard product such as in big distributions.
Which is your favorite thing of your work, and which is the worst?
What I love the most is the ending part of the production, the bottling moment when all your efforts are rewarded. Then I think the worst side is the bureaucracy which I fight every day with.
If the Prime Minister would call you and he would ask you a wine for a very important dinner, which wine would you suggest him, and why?
I would suggest the Rosso di Montalcino doc for a main course of pasta with ragù, and a Brunello di Montalcino docg for a second course of red meat such as a great fiorentina steak.
If you have to give an advice to all the cellars of your territory, what would you advice?
Keep producing quality wines to excite the consumers.
In the last years the web commerce is expanding a lot, the online wine shops are growing up more and more; how do you consider this market news?
It is a great opportunity for the little companies like me because it increases my work by being available for the whole world.
Why have you decided to commit the sale of the wines to the online wine shop Uritalianwines?
I think the person who represents it is a young man like me who works with passion and seriousness as I do for my company.
Which is the wine you would suggest to the online Uritalianwines customers and why?
The wine I would suggest is the Brunello di Montalcino docg 2008 because is a very drinkable wine, very elegant and with lots of scent.
