This sensational wine is produced with 100% Verduzzo Friulano grapes. Verduzzo Giallo is a local ancient variety of Friuli: it is cultivated exclusively is the zones of the origin. The vine variety adapts itself in different environments but it prefers the hills with a good exposition. The late harvest is planned at the end of October in order to reach the right percentage of sugar. In that period, the bunches are near to over-maturation. The grapes are then placed on “Toblar”, that gives the name to the wine and are left there drying for one month. The soft pressing is followed by fermentation in barriques for 14-15 days at 18-20°C. There the wine starts also the aging, that lasts 10 months. The bottling closes the wine making process.

Gold yellow colour enriched by perfumes that recall acacia and apple. The taste is characterized by light tannins; It is structured, pleasant and balanced.
Recommended food pairings while tasting this “Verduzzo”
Perfect with desserts, foie-gras, sweets made with almonds and biscuits. It has to be served at 8°C in a small wine glass that concentrates the scents. It reaches an alcoholic strength is 11% Vol.
