Descrizione vino

This wine is made by 100% chiavennasca (nebbiolo) grapes and it is produced by the Nino Negri winery which is always respectful of the tradition. In the Valtellina Superiore DOCG “Sciúr” 2012 the pleasantness and sustainability are harmonically balanced in the history of this product.  Sciúr as substainable, concrete, innovative, unique and responsible. A wine that is projected to the future but always focused on the tradition: the Valtellina Superiore DOCG “Sciúr” 2012 of the Nino Negri in vinified in steel and it matures for 16 months in oak barrels of 750 liters. It is an elegant, rich red wine also fine and harmonic. A red wine that represents the future of the Nino Negri winery.

 

Characteristics of the “Sciúr” Valtellina Superiore DOCG wine

It has an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The smell has ripened cherry; wither roses, and tobacco aromas. The taste is fresh, harmonic, round and elegant. It has pleasant tannins and a fruity and persistent end.

It is a meal wine, perfect with refilled pasta, roasted meats and aged cheeses. It must be served at 16°C and the proof is 13,5%.
