Valpolicella Superiore "Rafaèl" DOC TOMMASI
This is the traditional wine form Veneto. It is produced by the Tommasi Winery with the grapes coming from the “RAFAÈL” vineyards in San Pietro in Cariano hamlet. It is made by 60% of Corvina Veronese, 25% of Rondinella and 15% of Molinara grapes. The wine ferments at 25-30°C with 8 days of maceration. It follows 15 months of Slavonia oak barrels of 65hl for the refinement.
Characteristics of the Valpolicella Classico Superiore “Rafaèl” DOC
It has an intense and bright ruby red color. The smell is fruity with flowers and ripen cherry aromas. The taste is rich and soft with cherry and prunes aromas.
