Toscana "Collepino" BANFI
The Collepino Banfi ia a very refined wine with the IGT certification and it is the result of the know-how of the Tuscany wine farmers. It is made with Merlot and Sangiovese grapes. The grapes macerate at 25-30°C in stainless steel tanks for 7-8 days. After the malolactic fermentation the wine is poured in French oak barrels for 2 months.
Characteristics of the Collepino Toscana
It has an intense ruby red color. The smell is fresh and fruity with currant, raspberry and prune aromas. The taste is soft, with sweet tannins and a good end.
Suggested pairings with this wine of the Banfi winery
It is perfect with white or red meats and medium aged cheeses. It must be served at 18-20°C and the proof is 13%.
