Ribolla Gialla DOC Bastianich
A single vine with more than 60 years, on the top of a wonderful hill perfectly exposed, is able to produce our best example of Ribolla Gialla DOC. A 10% of the bunches are withered to better concentrate the aromas of the old vines.
Characteristics of the white wine Ribolla Gialla Bastianich
The taste is very balanced between mineral hints and citrons which are able to convert themselves in wild flowers, clover honey and ripe pears sensations. Its tannic and acid structure are relevant and give it longevity. The scent is rich and structured with tangerine, orange, melon and pear aromas.
Suggested pairings with the Ribolla Gialla
If young it can be paired with fried or raw fish but it is also very good with spicy courses such as the Indian or Thailand one. When it is ager is perfect with soft cheeses such as the Taleggio or the robiola. It has to be served fresh at 8°C in Renano wine glasses.
