Wine description
Refosco of Winery Tenuta Luisa, located in Mariano del Friuli, is a red wine that comes from 100% Refosco. Old native vine of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. The wine starts with a maceration on the skins for 15 days. Fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature for 12 days. It is aged on lees for 10 months. A part in steel barrels and the other in wooden barrels. After bottling, the refinement continues in the bottle for a further 4 months.
Characteristics of the Refosco del Peduncolo Rosso DOC
Its aroma is intense, vinous, with notes of blackberry and wild berry. In the mouth its character is determined, lively, typically tannic and pleasantly bitter.

Serve in goblets of medium size and temperature of 16-18°C. It is perfect with salami, fatty meats and aged cheeses.
