Pinot Grigio DOC "Campo Bianco" is a white wine, produced on the Hills of Piacenza (Colli Piacentini), in Emilia Romagna region, at 250-300 meters a.m.s.l. Grapes are 100% Pinot Grigio which come from an organically cultivated vineyard. Grapes are picked by hand and vinified in white. Then the must undergoes fermentation in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature of 16°-18°, in order to preserve the aroma. The wine is refined in stainless steel tanks and it is bottled at low temperature, in late spring.
Characteristics of Pinot Grigio "Campo Bianco" (No added Sulphites)
It present a straw yellow colour. Intense bouquet with apple and pear notes. Generous sensations on the mouth, it is a balanced and sapid wine.
Recommended pairings while tasting with this Pinot Grigio DOC
It is perfect with appetizers, charcuterie, cheeses and strong flavoured main courses. It should be served in a medium brad wine glass, at a temperature of 10°-11° C.
