Passito Veneto di Lugana " Rigoletto" ZENATO
The Trebbiano di Lugana grapes used to produce this fantastic raisin wine are picked and let to macerate up to the first months of the following year to obtain a little jewel perfect for every special occasion. The cultivation area is the south of the Garda River in Peschiera del Garda and the cultivation method is the Guyot with a profit of 80 quintals per hectare. The grape harvest takes place in the last decade of September and it follows the wine making process for the following 4 days in stainless steel tanks and 30-40 days in French oak barrels. The refinement lasts 12 months in barrels and then in stainless steel tanks. Finally it rests 5-6 months in bottle.
Characteristics of the Rigoletto Veneto Passito
It has a gold color with amber reflections. The smell is intense with floral aromas together with honey and vanilla. The taste is balanced with a good aromatic persistence.
