Descrizione vino

The quality sparkling wine of the Villa Sandi winery. The sparkling process, according to the manufacturer's tradition, follows the classic V.S.Q. method The sugar degree is in the Extra Brut category. For its vinification, grapes are used in blend of Chardonnay 70% and Pinot Nero 30%, vinified in white. The percentage of the blend then varies at the discretion of the technicians based on the years and climatic characteristics that allow a correct maturation of the grapes. The production area is that of the province of Tereviso, characterized by a high wine-growing vocation.

 

Characteristics of the Spumante Operè Extra Brut

The organoleptic examination of the Venetian sparkling wine gives us a wine with a brilliant straw yellow color, with rich and persistent perlage. The scent is decidedly fragrant, with hints of good yeast and small notes of unripe fruit. The taste on the palate has a decidedly fresh and dry note with a pleasant froth. The finish is appreciated for the unusual flavor wrapped in an almond base. It reaches a colic alcohol content of 12% Vol.

This Extra Brut sparkling wine produced by the Villa Sandi winery is excellent as an aperitif. Also in combination with the dishes it is suitable to accompany salads and fish appetizers. Excellent with anchovy and oyster crostini. Serve cool at 6 ° C in tall and tapered glass.
