Descrizione vino

The Kaspar IGT Terre Siciliane is a red Sicilian wine, produced by the Assuli company located in the Trapani countryside in Mazzara del Vallo. This wine grapes is 100% Nero d'Avola picked at the middle of September. The maturation of the peel takes 8-15 days, follows 10-12 months in French oak half toasted barrels.

 

Characteristics of the Nero d'Avola IGT wine

Esthetically appears deep ruby red coloured with purple reflections. The scent is intense with some red ripe fruit, violet, rue and lead flavors. The taste is equilibrated with tannin touch.

 

Suggestions for the Nero d'Avola IGT wine

It has to be served in large globets at 17-18° C It is perfect to be drunk with baked meat and middle aged cheese. The name Kaspar together with Baldassarre and Melchiorre remember, since the Crusade, those three who embed the emblem of ancient tradition of the Alliata family.
