From the Moscato giallo grapes, the Tramin company produces this refined white wine which is honored by the DOC certification typical of the Tramin company: Südtirol – Alto Adige DOC. In this territory the grapes benefit of the synergy between the mite weather and the habitual rains at the beginning of spring time which allow an early bud. These weather conditions give exceptional white wines which acquire an aromatic and freshness taste. The grapes used for the production of this wine are the Moscato giallo at 100%. The cultivation area are the Termeno and Egna at 250-550 meters above the sea level and they are cultivated on clay and pebbly soils with a profit of 70 hectoliters. Firstly the grapes are softly pressed and then they have to ferment at 19°C in steel tanks. There is no malolactic fermentation.
Characteristics of the Moscato Giallo "Amabile" DOC
The technical characteristics of the Moscato giallo consist of the remaining sugars of 38,0 g/l which is typical for the Muscat wines. The acidity of 5,7 g/l and the proof of 11,7 %. It can be aged until 3 years but not more. It has a refined aspect with a yellow color almost amber very bright and clear. The perfume has melon, clove and rose petals hints that in the palate are reproduced by a sweetness, soft and sapid taste.

The Moscato Giallo DOC Amabile Tramin is perfect with the bakery from Trentino. It is ideal with strudel, Krapfen and apple or chocolate cakes. It has to be served fresh at 12° C in a renano wine glass.
