Vieris is one of the white wines produced with Sauvignon Blanc by Vie di Romans, in Friuli Venezia Giulia. This product is a perfect expression of the territory. It shows all the features and potentialities of Sauvignon Blanc cultivated on the territory of Isonzo. This wine fascinates for its freshness and the width of its perfumes, but also for its structure, that even if it is soft, it can be submitted to a long period of aging. Vieris is a worthy product, that everyone should have in the cellar. It praises the denomination Friuli Isonzo DOC and it is vinified with 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

 

Features of Sauvignon Blanc Vieris

The aspect has a shiny straw yellow colour. The scent is intense, refines, with hints of tropical fruit like pink grapefruit linked to aromatic herbs and fruit with white pulp. A little sensation of minerals lays in the background. The taste is soft, fresh and recalls tropical and citrus fruits. It has a good persistence.

 

Recommended food pairings while tasting this Sauvignon Blanc Vie di Romans

A perfect solution with vegetables, receipts with aromatic herbs, citrus fruits, fish, pork meat, pasta with pesto and regional dishes. Fantastic and unusual pairing with grilled pork meat flavoured with oil, aromatic herbs like linden, laurel, marjoram and rosemary. It has to be served fresh at 8°C in a high, wide wine glass. It reaches an alcoholic strength of 14,5% Vol.
