Descrizione vino

This bottle format Magnum is sold in screen-printed Box.

 

Made from the vinification in purity of fine and selected 100% Lacrima di Morro d'Alba grapes. The origin is the classic one of the  territory of Morro d’Alba, in the Marches region. Harvest takes place at the end of September and is carried out strictly by hand in boxes. Vinification requires a first soft pressing, and then maceration in contact with rinds for 10-14 days; follows fermentation in steel tanks at 18°C. At last, the refinement occurs for 12 months in small used French oak barrels and 6 months in bottles.

 

Lacrima di Morro d’Alba Superiore’s features

Intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The scent has aromas of rose, blackberry, pink pepper and juniper berries with an elegant touch of oriental spices. Fruity and spicy taste with soft and persistent tannins and a clean finish.

 

Suggested food pairings while tasting this red wine

Excellent with first courses, duck breast, turkey, roast lamb, pork and rabbit. The optimum serving temperature is 16°C.
