Il Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle Cuvèe du Prince DOC Cave Mont Blanc
The Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle Cuvèe du Prince is a sparkling classic method wine produced in Val D’Aosta in the Cave du Vin Blanc located between Morgex et La Salle where the vineyards achieve the 1200 m in altitude in the slope of Monte Bianco. These are the vineyards the highest in Europe. The grapes are 100% Priè Blanc de Morgex. The first fermentation takes place in larch wood barrels, in oak barrels and in steel. Follows 48 months of Re-fermentation in bottles by following the classic method.
Characteristics of Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle Cuvèe du Prince DOC
Esthetically it has a straw yellow color with green reflections. The scent is fresh with fruity and white flower aromas. The taste is fruity with some pippin flavors and an almond aftertaste with a mineral end.
Recommended pairings while tasting this Sparkling wine
It is suggested to serve it at 6-8°C. It is ideal to be drunk all along the meal and it is good also with fresh cheese.
