Descrizione vino

The origin of the vines is linked to Lombardy, in the heart of Franciacorta. A Franciacorta Brut DOCG that celebrates a sporting moment, the 90th anniversary of the work of Baron Edoardo Pizzini, who, in 1927, dedicated himself to the construction of the "Golf Club Di Franciacorta", that today still has considerable importance. Its vinification involves the use in a blend of 95% Chardonnay grapes, and 5% Pinot Nero. The wine is fermented in thermo-conditioned steel tanks, and then matured, again in steel tanks, for 6 months. Finally, the refinement of the wine which is carried out in the bottle for about 20 - 30 months on the lees.

 

Franciacorta Brut Golf 1927 DOCG Barone Pizzini

The straw yellow colour is very intense and characterized by a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals floral and fruity aromas, enlivened by light mineral and bread crust touches. The taste on the palate is enveloping, elegant, delicate, with a fresh and well-structured sip.

Excellent with cured meats, cold cuts and aged hard cheeses. Also excellent with seafood pasta, such as spaghetti with clams, it gives its best with a delicious tuna tartare. The optimal serving temperature is 8 ° C.
