Cuvée Prestige boasts the denomination Franciacorta DOCG. It is a blend composed by 75% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Blanc and 15% Pinot Noir. Chardonnay grapes are cultivated in 96 vineyards with an average age of 27 years old, located in the areas of Erbusco, Adro, Cazzago San Martino, Corte Franca, Iseo and Passirano. Pinot Blanc grapes are cultivated in 3 vineyards with an average age of 21 years old in Passirano, while the 17 of Pinot Noir, that are around 19, are located in Erbusco, Provaglio d’ Iseo and Passirano. Cuvée prestige is the result of a careful wine-making protocol. The grapes, harvested manually, are codified, cooled and selected before the pressing. The alcoholic fermentation is managed in thermo-conditioned steel containers, where the wines rest until the next march. They need 7 months to become clear, to mature and to express the features of their vineyards. After this phase, they are assembled to some “Riserva” of the best vintages (from 20 to 30%) in the magic ritual of the creation of the Cuvée. This particular technique gives to Cuvée Prestige a unique personality, that represents the essence of Franciacorta. Only after 25 months aging on lees, this wine can express its identity. The “dégorgement” is managed without oxygen, using a unique method, invented and patented by Cà del Bosco. This avoids oxidation shocks and further additions of sulphites, in order to maintain our Franciacorta more long-lasting, pleasant and pure.

A shiny straw yellow colour with a faint and persistent perlage. Its perfume is characterized by delicate flowers, yellow fruits, sweet sensations and herbs. The taste is pleasant, clear and dynamic. Harmonious balance between minerals and exotic fruits.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this Cuvée Prestige Cà del Bosco
Excellent with light starters, fish, vegetables, simple preparations made with seafood and crustaceans. It is fabulous with sliced raw fish, sushi and with appetizers. It has to be served at 6°C in a high, tapered wine glass.
