This refined Franciacorta is the result of the vinification in a blend of 80% Chardonnay grapes and 20% Pinot Noir grapes. The origin is the classic DOCG of Franciacorta. The vineyards of Chardonnay have an average age of 20 years, while those of Pinot Noir are younger and reach an average age of 12 years. The vinification involves the soft pressing of the grapes, followed by fermentation in steel vats and in small oak barrels at controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wine is kept in contact with yeasts through a bâtonnage operation. Subsequently Franciacorta is prepared for the tirage with which it begins the refermentation in bottle and aging on lees for 42 months. Finally, before being commercialized, the sparkling wine of Franciacorta Arcadia Millesimato has a permanence in bottle in contact on the lees that reaches 42 months.
Characteristics of this Franciacorta Brut
To the appearance that is evident from the organoleptic examination, the wine has a lunar straw yellow color, a very fine perlage, persistent and continuous. The scent on the nose is a perfect bouquet of elegant and fresh scents of yeast; striking for its fragrance and fullness, combining a fruity vein with vanilla tones and brioche bread. The taste in the mouth expresses a caressing effervescence, a nice acidic vein that supports an intense and soft fruity, with tropical notes of ripe exotic fruit, in the end it appears long satisfying and persistent.

A perfect wine as an aperitif and with fish and shellfish dishes, risottos and dry desserts. The optimal serving temperature is 8 ºC in a high and tapered glass.
