Edmida Neri Red Tenuta Luisa
The Edmida Neri Rosso Igt of the Agricultural Company Luisa, is dedicated to dynamic and young users who love the fresh wines for friends moment such as the appetizers or the pre-dinner. It is produced by the blend Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes cultivated with the French Guyot method with a density of 5000 stumps per hectare. The wine making process starts with the fermentation that lasts 6 days in stainless steel tanks at 22°C. It follows the aging on noble lees for further 6 months and finally the bottle aging for 2 months.
Characteristics of the "Edmida Neri" wine
It has a ruby red color with purple reflections and it is rich of ethereal aromas of red berries and of undergrowth. The taste is remarkable for its fruity aromas which reminds the raspberry and little red fruits. It is not so persistent.
Recommended pairings with the "Edmida Neri" Rosso IGT
The Edmida Neri Rosso is perfect as long appetizer, with starters, soups, white and red meats but also cold cuts and cheeses. It is very good with grilled chicken. It has to be served at 16°C in wide wine glasses such as the Ballon or Bordeaux to help the extraction of the aromas.
