Descrizione vino

The sweetness of Friuli is represented by a label that is the masterpiece of Muzic winery. This sensational wine praises the denomination DOC. It is produced in the area of Collio, where the prestigious Muzic winery operates. The vineyards are spread in the district of San Floriano del Collio, Località Asci. It is composed by 100% Picolit cultivated on hills soils characterized by marl and sands of Eocenic origin. The plants are trained with traditional guyot method and produce only 30 quintals per hectare. The manual harvest starts within the half of October. The grapes are then dried on trellis for 30 days. After the elimination of stalks a maceration of 10 months starts. It is managed in big barrels made of oak. The aging in wooden barrels lasts 18-24 months and closes the process.

Features of the white wine “Collio Picolit”
