Brunello di Montalcino Riserva "Poggio Abate" DOCG FATTORIA DEL CERRO La Poderina
This Brunello di Montalcino Riserva "Poggio Abate" from "La Poderina" winery is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grosso grapes according to the tradition. Immediately after the manual harvest, the grapes undergo fermentation and subsequent maceration in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-28 ° C: pumping over and delestage are carried out daily. After the alcoholic fermentation a post-fermentation maceration at 29 ° C takes places. When there is still a good presence of fine lees, it is transferred to oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation with batonnage will take place for at least 5 months. At the end of this period, the wine will continue to refine for 19 months.
