Descrizione vino

Barolo "Bricco Ambrogio" DOCG is the red wine of Piedmont par excellence. The grapes that produce this wine are 100% Nebbiolo from Barolo, harvested by hand in the cru Bricco Ambrogio, located in Roddi D'Alba in a sunny location about 300 meters above sea level consisting of vineyards  with an average age of about 40 years. The vinification is traditional with a maceration of 10-15 days, followed by aging for 24-30 months in tonneau and 10 months in bottle.

Characteristics of this Barolo DOCG

Its color is  deep garnet with orange highlights. The scent is full and intense with notes of violets and dried rose, that give the typical taste of tar, warm and pleasant. The palate is robust, structured and elegant with excellent persistence.
