Descrizione vino

With 100% Nebbiolo grapes, the international winery Gaya produces this sensational Barolo DOCG famous all over the world. The cultivation lands are located in the area of Serralunga and La Morra. The grapes coming from different vineyards are worked separately. After fermentation, maceration and 12 months aging in wood, the wines are assembled together to be submitted to a further maturation of 18 months. In 1937, Giovanni Gaja, Angelo’s father, decided to create a label for its wines on which the name “Gaja” was clear and recognizable. Today, this prestigious name is famous worldwide, for its label of course, but mainly for the excellence of its products. “Barolo Dagromis”, after a rest of 30 months in barrique, is balanced, elegant and perfumed.

The organoleptic exam reveals a ruby red colour. The perfume is deep and intense, ideal for meditation. Its floral hints recall wild rose, joined to red berries, liquorice and aromatic herbs. Its taste is elegant and powerful at the same time, with balanced, soft tannins. Long persistence.

A rich red wine, with a great importance and an extraordinary elegance. These features make it perfect with sophisticated main dishes or with roasted or braised meat and game. Fabulous even alone. It has to be served at 16°C in a wide wine glass, in order to allow the right oxygenation. The alcoholic strength touches 14% Vol.
